Service Description
14 - 3 hour sessions, 2 weekly (T-Th) with ceramics immersion into all aspects of creating ceramic objects, either for functional use or visual arts interest, with glazing and firing insight. This course features facilities with equipment for throwing with 7 wheels, a slab roller and extrusion equipment, stock glazes, electric kilns for bisquing and for cone 5-6 glaze firing, a gas kiln for highfire, and a woodfire kiln (in construction). Participants will pay additional fees for: 1. Clays, $25.00 a bag 2. Tools, kits & unique tools (priced per item). 3. And additional firing fees, for unique work, cone 5-6 and or highfired with different pricing per cubic foot as needed.
